The Story Behind Rozelle's Plumbing Problems
Rozelle sits on the Balmain peninsula, a harbourside village built up through the late-Victorian and Federation eras around what's now the Darling Street cafe strip and its pub culture. Terraces, semis and workers' cottages dominate, many in sandstone and double brick under heritage conservation controls.
